How to do it

Take a photo facing the camera in front of a plain wall, with even light on your face.

Tips

Is the CNIC photo the same size?

Yes, the same 35 × 45 mm preset is used for passport and NADRA CNIC photos in the tool.

Can I print it at home?

Yes. Download the 4 × 6 inch sheet with 8 photos and print it at 100% (actual size) on photo paper, or take it to a photo shop.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Background replacement, cropping and resizing all run in your browser. The photo stays on your phone or computer.

Will the office accept this photo?

The tool produces the published size and a plain background, but acceptance also depends on lighting, expression and the office’s own review. Always check the current rules of the authority you are applying to.

Can I reduce the photo to a KB limit for an online form?

Yes. Under “Crop, size and file format”, turn on the file size limit and enter the KB value the portal asks for before you download.
